What’s on this weekend in Warrnambool

The Powercor Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic is on in Warrnambool this weekend and apart from some exciting racing, there will be plenty of fun activities that the whole family can enjoy.

Saturday the Event Village will be open from 10:30 – 3pm and will include free ‘rides’ up and down in the Powercor EPV units!

The village will also be showing the final hour and a half of the racing LIVE on the big screen so come down and enjoy the food trucks, face painting, jumping castle, giant colouring wall and grab a TAC Cow Bell to cheer on the cyclists. Or why not join in the 3YB Community Ride from 12:30pm.

Watch the Royal Bikes Port Campbell to Warrnambool Handicap winner cross the line before the roar of the Powercor Melbourne to Warrnambool Cycling Classic finishes on Raglan Parade.

Sunday will see the inaugural Royal Bikes Middle Island Criterium at the Pavilion Café & Bar in Warrnambool. Again, plenty will be happening off the race track including Warrnambool Athletics Club running races and the Silvan Ridge Dash for Cash with local footballers and netballer’s from Koroit FNC, Warrnambool FNC & South Warrnambool FNC running for a prize purse of $1,000 cash.

Sunday will also see kids skills clinics and the famous Maremma Dogs down for pats photos from 9am.
